About the project

A very small but professional rewarding project in one of Ipswich best known landmarks.

Suffolk Historic Churches Trust have restored the bells and more importantly the original Carillon machine (an automatic device that will play tunes through the existing bells) within the tower.

The Carillon machine is one of less than 20 in the UK and was originally installed in the Victorian era by the Cobbold family.

Brook Electrical installed new lighting up the stone staircase of the tower, in the ringing chamber and the belfry.

Brook Electrical also installed additional power in the tower to allow for the Carillon unit to work again and let the bells ring out over the town again.
