Taking the limited design brief from the University of Suffolk Estates department Brook Electrical designed in partnership with John Slater & Haward new lighting power and containment for CAT6a Structed cabling within the Art Block.
Nearly 400 CAT6a data outlets were installed on this project with Brook Electrical working alongside Connecture to provide containment through the 3 floors of the Art Block . The existing industrial look of the Art Block was taken into account when designing the containment for structed cabling, power and lighting, with the exposed ceilings and floors throughout the building making the environment particularly challenging.
Brook Electrical installed lighting and power throughout and upgraded various existing distribution boards to 18th Edition standard.
